WINNER OF BEST CREATIVE PLAY: SILVER

WHO: Great Little Trading Co.
WHAT:
Create and Play Wooden Mud Kitchen
WHY:
Anyone who wants to encourage their kids outdoors will love this mud kitchen, which gives kids the chance to engage in deliciously messy, sensory play as well as painting and drawing. Our judges really liked the multi-purpose use of this toy which allows kids to get hands on with nature, store their gardening equipment in easy reach and draw on the chalkboard and paper roll while getting their Vitamin D. The panel also loved the illustrated weather station on the side for another layer of educational fun. A cute and sturdy mud kitchen that really gives kids a little space of their own in the garden or even on a small terrace.

Mud pies here we come! Such a cute outdoor kitchen come art station, that little ones will love using as a focus for activities in the garden.

scaffer

WINNER OF BEST CREATIVE PLAY: JOINT BRONZE

WHO: Sawdust & Rainbows
WHAT:
Scaffer construction system
WHY:
These innovative interlocking boards that give kids the ability to build endless impressive structures safely and independently, really excited our panel. The grand scale of the projects it enables and the STEAM qualities of the product were seen as major ticks for parents of mini architects who want something on a different scale from building bricks. Sergei Urban of The Dad Lab gave it a firm ten out of ten and many of our other judges were intrigued by the possibilities that these kits present. That Sawdust and Rainbows plant a tree for every set of boards sold also impressed the panel greatly.

These ingenious boards are such a great idea for kids who want to do something out of the box! A great toy for-nurturing independence, creativity and self-esteem.
Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior
I love the idea of giving kids the freedom to build really impressive structures like this! SO much more reliable than blankets stretched across chairs!
