WHAT: A mid-century style cot that can transform into a toddler bed and then a stylish daybed that works just as well for adults as children. Hand crafted by a family business in Ireland, this bed is made from a combination of solid Ash and Walnut and is finished with natural non-toxic oils and lacquers.
WHY: All the heart eyes were out for this stunning piece of nursery furniture that really is a work of art. Our judges loved the contemporary styling with a slight retro feel and applauded the fact that this piece will not only last a lifetime but could be handed down for generations. WHAT: A sleek and stylish bed that will take your child from newborn up until the age of 4. Evolving as your child develops, this bed transitions seamlessly from crib with high, mid and low mattress positions, to cot bed by removing the side panels and replacing them with a headboard and foot end. Our judges thought the concept was extremely clever and also loved the company’s eco conscious approach to design. WHY: This crib really is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and is made from high-quality wood with minimal to no chemical processing making it perfect for baby's first environment. Finished with a water based lacquer and flaxseed oil, the focus on green and sustainable production is extremely high. Our judges loved this cot’s eco-credentials and its clean lines and warm hued plywood made it a visual success too. Our panel said:
