WHO: UPPABABY MINU

WHAT: This new Minu is UPPAbaby’s is their most compact stroller yet, and offers modern conveniences in a compact, lightweight design. Weighing in at 6.5kg, the Minu is suitable from birth.

WHY: The lightweight design and all-wheel suspension ensures a smooth ride. With a one-handed compact fold and a convenient carry strap, the Minu is simple to use on the go as it folds small. It’s perfect for apartment living, public transport and travel. Junior Travel Writer Karen Beddow said “Love this design and it works incredibly well too.”

WINNER: SILVER FOR BEST PUSHCHAIR DESIGN (COMPACT)

WHO: TUTTI BAMBINI KOJI

WHAT: Koji isthe little yet large pushchair perfect for active parents who are always out and about. Lightweight and nimble the Koji perfect for city life suitable from birth.

WHY: The Koji features a lie flat seat which is suitable from birth, that can be used in street or parent facing modes. An optional carrycot is also available which is suitable for overnight sleeping. The one hand mechanism also allows you to fold it up with ease. Junior Editor Bonita Turner said: “As a parent you are looking for a comfortable pushchair that offers stability and practicality but still stylish. This is what the Koji is.”

WINNER: BRONZE FOR BEST PUSHCHAIR DESIGN (COMPACT)

WHO: LITTLE BIRD ROLL BY JOOLS OLIVER (FOR MOTHERCARE)

WHAT: A nippy stroller from the eagerly anticipated debut collection of Little Bird pushchairs by Jools Oliver for Mothercare incorporating her unique style, retro design values and signature rainbow stripe.

WHY: Although not as lightweight as some of the others buggies in the category, the Little Bird Roll is definitely a worthy winner. This lightweight stroller will brighten up every journey from birth to 3/4 years. The roll frame is easy to manoeuvre, with lockable front swivel wheels for a smooth ride across all terrains and a carry handle for easy transport. The padded seat has multiple recline positions and is finished in denim embroidered fabric and of course the iconic little bird rainbow stripe strap really stands out in the crowd. Junior Editor Bonita Turner said “Just what every Little Bird fan has been waiting for!”
