WHAT: Polar Post - Letters to and from Father Christmas

WHY: The Polar Post’s exquisite, handwritten letters sent to and from Father Christmas, overseen by a talented troupe of calligrapher elves, sent our judges into sparkly-eyed reveries. Everyone marvelled over the beautiful penmanship, the high-quality stationery and the wonderful attention to detail, including specially illustrated stamps and old-fashioned franking. This magical postal service suspends disbelief like no other and our judges were excited to see the option to build on this excitement with the plentiful gift options that Polar Post stocks in Santa’s North Pole post office shop, which is very handily online too. A beautiful cerulean blue hat box, perfect for holding Christmas Eve gifts, tiny hand-crafted fairy dolls, gold coins and ticket stubs that look like they were issued for steam trains powered by stardust had everyone in raptures.

Pure essence of Christmas magic. Beautiful Christmas letters and now a one-stop shop for the most charming stocking fillers and gifts. Congratulations on receiving Platinum - so very deserved!

A magical brand - which creates memories to last forever. We have a framed letter in our house and it takes pride of place on our fireplace every Christmas. I know that this letter will be treasured forever! Really captures the magic and innocence of Christmas!

Beautiful designs celebrating the magic of Christmas. The letters from Father Christmas are totally charming and capture a special moment in time that little ones grow out of all too quickly. From the North Pole stamp on the envelope to the embossed paper, the quality is excellent.

I think part of the success of Polar Post lies in everything feeling so light and twinkly - never laboured. The founder’s meticulous attention to detail and love of creating joyful moments always shines through and the essence of the letters has been expanded on perfectly to create gifts that feel handmade and forged from kind and happy thoughts!

WHO: Festive Fingerprints

WHAT: Fingerprint Card Kits

WHY: This beautifully presented activity box that includes everything a family could need to create charming cards based around their fingerprints was a big hit with our judges who loved the idea of families crafting together and giving their cards a personal touch! The panel agreed that this was a lovely way to encourage family bonding and mindfulness and they were excited to hear that for every order placed, a new tree is planted with over 3,700 trees planted to date!

Festive Fingerprints is the perfect way to get the youngest kids in the family involved in card making and getting creative. Great news that for every order received a tree is planted – a truly thoughtful brand. I loved watching this brand grow - congratulations on receiving Gold!

WHO: The HappySelf Journal

WHAT: The HappySelf Journal range of daily journals

WHY: These satisfying bright yellow journals stood out not only for their smartly embossed, vegan-friendly covers but for their quirky illustrations and easy-to-navigate pages which encourage children to spend a few minutes each day noting down their thoughts or responding to prompts. With a range of journals that cater for different age groups, the judges felt these books offered children a great outlet for feelings and thoughts they might not otherwise have the tools to express and would help encourage reflection, gratitude and mindfulness.

I know so many parents looking for ways to help their kids feel more positive and deal with their demanding day-to-day schedules and social interactions. These journals are a great resource and are really helpful as part of a mental health tool kit!
