WINNER: GOLD FOR BEST CHILDREN’S SNACK/DRINK
WHAT: Delicious low sugar lollies and milks from British Family business Jude’s made from all natural ingredients.
WHY: When Little Jude’s lollies and milk cartons came out of the Junior kitchen for our mini-influencers to try, there was almost a stampede! Our parent judges were delighted to discover that the lollies contain 30% less sugar than their mainstream competitors and loved the fact that the Little Jude’s Milk Drinks are sweetened with honey. The kids were absolutely none the wiser about this clever sugar cull and mini-influencer Fancy Nancy said “The lollies and shakes were absolutely delicious!”
WHERE: Ocado and selected Sainsbury’s
WINNER: SILVER FOR BEST CHILDREN’S SNACK/DRINK
WHAT: A range of beautifully packaged herbal and fruit teas that can be drunk warm or iced created especially for kids with hydration and relaxation in mind.
WHY: Junior’s mini judges were incredibly taken with the novelty of being offered a cup of tea and all sat very sweetly with pinkies cocked, happily sipping away! The response was overwhelmingly positive: 13 year old vlogger Amazing Arabella said “I Love the box designs – this is a really cool idea for kids.” Fern Weston-Bennett, mother of mini judge Fancy Nancy said, “Loving this idea! Nancy and I loved the teas! Some lovely flavours and a massive bonus when it ticks the health box too!” Model Farouk James added, “Amazing! My little brother has been waiting for this as he drinks way too much milk!”
WHERE: Small & Wild and a large selection of independent grocers.
WINNER: BRONZE FOR BEST CHILDREN’S SNACK/DRINK
WHAT: Refreshing, low sugar, fruit packed Greek Style Frozen Yoghurt Lollies
WHY: There was a huge flurry of excitement when Junior presented our team of mini-influencer judges, not to mention the adult judges with a selection of Claudi & Fin’s mini rocket shaped mango, strawberry and peach and apricot lollies on a silver tray (yes, we are dead posh). The all natural ingredients, creamy texture, subtle sharpness of the yoghurt flavour and low sugar content went down a treat with everyone especially our Contributing Editor and judge Ellie Crompton who said “I could easily eat these all day!” And she did.
