JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 PLATINUM WINNER: Best Children's Sleepwear Collection (Child)

WHO: FAUNE

WHAT: Cotton children's sleepwear brand that takes its inspiration from classic vintage nightwear.

WHY: These nightdresses and pyjamas are the stuff of dreams! Gauzy, pin-tucked, lace trimmed dreams… Our judges all fell in love with the exquisite detailing on these soft, floaty nightdresses that are so beautiful they could easily be worn during the day as party and bridesmaid dresses or just because... The classic pinstripe pyjamas in shades of dove grey were also much admired by the panel and the whole Faune collection had everyone - we have to say it -fawning. As well as being stunning to look at, this brand also impressed the judges with its slow fashion credentials, ethical production and heirloom quality.

OMG. These are divine and so up my aesthetic street!

I cannot express my love for this brand. Breathtakingly ethereal. Bringing an incredible dose of the whimsical to childhood. Something I can imagine passing down the generations.
Gemma Metcalfe, founder of Mutha. Hood @mutha.hood
Beautiful and just something a little different.
George Reddings, Children’s fashion designer and brand consultant @george_ggredd_
There is nothing quite like it on the market. High end pieces that your children will pass down to their children. Not something as common as it once was. Cool pieces that would look equally as good in bed as they would on a Summer’s day playing in the fields.

I mean these are what make dreams come true. So beautiful.

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 GOLD WINNER: Best Children's Sleepwear Collection (Child)

WHO: Sleepy Wilson Silk Pyjamas

More like this

WHAT: A sustainable, family run sleepwear company, featuring printed pyjamas made from 19mm biodegradable silk, with 6% stretch.

WHY: These bright and beautiful pyjamas really caused a stir amongst our judges who absolutely loved the clashing candy striped prints and on trend colour palette. The fluid silk with added stretch for movement felt incredibly soft to the touch and extra details like piped edging, rounded collars and natural shell buttons added to the whole sense of luxury and elevated style. Designed by parents of a light sleeper and a child with eczema, who wanted to create the perfect pyjamas for a great night’s sleep, we thing they’ve succeeded! With a fully transparent supply chain and zero plastics policy this brand wins for it’s eco-credentials too.

As a PJ wearer who is obsessed with Olivia Van Halle, your collection completely stole the show in this category for me. Stunning!

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 SILVER WINNER: Best Children's Sleepwear Collection (Child)

WHO: LOLA + BLAKE

WHAT: Hand-illustrated cotton nightwear with classic silhouettes for children 0-8 years.
