WINNER: PLATINUM FOR BEST CHILDREN'S SLEEPWEAR COLLECTION (CHILD)
WHO: FAUNE
WHAT: Traditional nightwear for girls made from fresh cotton and trimmed with exquisite lace and embroidery. For ages 2-10yrs
WHY: There was a huge buzz around the section of the Junior Awards sleepwear rail where Faune's delicate, airy nightdresses hung like dancing sunbeams. Yes, we are going all poetic because this is exactly how these beautiful nightgowns make us feel! Our fellow judges were equally as smitten, proclaiming the collection far too lovely just to be worn at night and writing the following comments in their judges' notes: "One of my absolute favourite brands. WHAT: A luxury children's nightwear and accessory brand designed in London and produced in India and London featuring block prints and ticking stripes with beautiful trims.
WHY: The combination of this brand's sheer quality of finish, beautiful soft cotton and gorgeous prints really made a big impression on our judges who loved the kimono robes and matching eye masks that come in their own equally gorgeous draw string bags with a wooden toothbrush - perfect for intrepid travellers or a stylish sleepover. "Beautiful colours and prints and the bunny mask is a very sweet touch." said top Children's Fashion Stylist and JDA18 judge Yvadney Davis, while Junior Travel Writer Karen Beddow pronounced the collection, "Super Cute!"

WHO: POWELL CRAFT
WHAT: A British Clothing company known for their vintage style cotton nightwear and more recently the addition of bold retro prints.
WHY: With something to suit everyone from ethereal Victorian style night dresses to fun printed PJ's, Powell Craft, ticked all the judge's boxes with their most recent collection. Edit 58 founder and JDA18 judge Lisa Mehydene said, "A new brand to me but I LOVE the old fashioned Victorian feel. My ideal nightwear for my daughter." and fellow JDA18 judge and Junior Travel writer Karen Beddow said "Just utterly beautiful"
WINNER: BRONZE FOR BEST CHILDREN'S SLEEPWEAR COLLECTION (CHILD)
WHO: MY LITTLE SHOP
WHAT: A London based sleepwear brand, specialising in timeless organic cotton sleepwear made in Spain employing local artisans for all detailing and finishes.
WHY: The sweet, fresh feel of this collection with more than a nod to nostalgia was hugely popular with our judges who loved the cool cotton fabrics, piped edging and pretty vintage prints. "Beautiful sleepwear that could be worn outside too!" commented Junior Travel writer Karen Beddow while Ellie Crompton, Junior's Contributing Editor said, "These remind me of the nighties and pyjamas my granny used to sew for me when I was a child. So gorgeous!"
