WINNER OF BEST CHILDREN’S LUNCHBOX DESIGN: GOLD

WHO: LASSIG
WHAT: LASSIG Lunchbox Stainless Steel Bamboo
WHY: This eco-friendly lunchbox was a huge hit with our judges who loved its sleek yet friendly design, the use of BPA free stainless steel and renewable bamboo, and the simple, small finger friendly, side fastening clips. The handy option of a divider inside the box was also considered a great addition, giving the option of keeping different foods separate in one box and the wooden lid that doubles up as sturdy plate or even chopping board, was much admired.

Beautiful design. Not the bright colored ones as we all know. And love the non-plastic sustainable materials.

WINNER OF BEST CHILDREN’S LUNCHBOX DESIGN: JOINT SILVER

WHO: Little People Big Vision
WHAT: Affirmation Snack & Lunch Box Sets
WHY: These vibrant, cool looking lunchboxes are bringing positivity and self esteem to lunch halls and picnics with their wonderfully uplifting and inspiring affirmations. Each water bottle and lunch box is covered with positive messages to reinforce children’s sense of worth, working on the premise that words do matter. Our judges loved the fact that every square inch of these lunch sets were covered in positivity and felt that this brand had cleverly identified that lunchtime was a great opportunity to boost self esteem. When children’s mental health is a huge ongoing concern and on a more immediate basis, finding someone to sit next to at lunch can be stressful, these lunch boxes are a great way to remind kids of their amazing qualities and give them a midday boost!

The empowering quotes are really nice.

WINNER OF BEST CHILDREN’S LUNCHBOX DESIGN: JOINT SILVER

WHO: TUM TUM
WHAT: TUM TUM Children’s Food Flask with Magnetic Spork
WHY: These tactile, bright and super cute food flasks really stood out in the lunchbox line-up and our judges felt they would be perfect for feeding pre-schoolers and young kids on the go. Thoughtful details such as an easy to open lid, cheery illustrations and the ability to keep food chilled or hot for up to four hours really impressed, but it was the matching magnetic spork that clings onto the side of the flask that was pronounced pure genius! The magnetic element makes packing this kit super easy and keeps the spork off surfaces if there’s a pause in munching. Great for kids to have fun with and great for parents who are sick of losing cutlery!

WHO: REX London
WHAT: Prehistoric Land Lunch Box with Tray
WHY: These BPA-free, cute retro style lunch boxes are a dinosaur fan’s dream and not only do they look great, with their fifties style Tupperware vibe but they are really practical too, with a deep food compartment that has an optional tray insert for separating several different foods. Our judges felt that this was a really efficient and fun way to pack lunch at an extremely reasonable price point. Other designs available for non dino fanatics!

Love the cute retro style.
