JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS WINNERS FOR BEST CHILDREN'S FOOD BRAND: GOLD

WHO: Cook School

WHAT: Cook School Recipe Kits available on subscription or as a one-off box

WHY: All of our judges loved this recipe kit service that provides children with a very cool looking box full of everything they need to make a nutritious vegetarian meal or something sweet and yummy to feed a family of four. The panel felt that the recipes were well chosen and exciting, helping kids broaden their eating horizons and that the pre-measured ingredients and recipe card with a QR code that links to videos of a child demonstrating the steps made the whole process super easy and satisfying for kids. A wonderful way of getting kids involved in the kitchen, encouraging them to try new foods and boosting their over-all confidence.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! I’m such a huge fan of kids getting involved and making their food. Gorgeous ingredients along with a wonderful instruction manual and info about the meal! Love ????

These kits are great for getting kids engaged with cooking and eating while the whole family benefits from a delicious home cooked meal or treat. We are big fans of the Pizza Beans recipe!

WHO: Fearne & Rosie

WHAT: Low sugar, high fruit strawberry jam

WHY: These jars of yummy jam got everyone oohing and ahhing every time a lid was opened. The smell of juicy strawberries gave a strong clue as to how good the jam would taste and we can vouch for the fact that it’s really good! Our judges felt that this was a great way to lower kids’ sugar intake and loved the fact that this jam is made in the UK with all natural ingredients, no concentrates and no palm oil.

Adding this to my next shopping list...

Yorkshire massiiiiiive! Love this jam and such a great alternative for us parents if we want to add a little bit to our cocktails instead of a sugary syrup ????????
Portia Freeman, Model and mixologist @portiaportiaaaa
This jam tastes really fresh and fruity and I love the cute packaging. Do try some of the other favours - I especially like the Cherry (just don't tell my daughter!)

WHO: Little Dish

WHAT: Little Dish Fresh Kids’ Meals

WHY: These fresh, nutritious, quick to serve kids meals were a favourite with our panel, some of whom were already very happy Little Dish customers. The judges loved the cute, enticing packaging and the reassurance that each recipe contains up to 7 different vegetables, is low in salt and contains 100% natural ingredients. The brand’s efforts to use recycled plastic including 30% prevented ocean plastic was also much applauded.

Excellent homemade style meals for kids that are a life saver when you’re in a rush to get them fed.

We tested these at home and are now regular customers. What I love is that my 16-month-old will eat them. But so will my 6 and 7-year-old - I just buy them 3 between the two of them!!
Charlotte Kewley, children’s stylist @thelittlelist
