WHO: OWA YURIKA
WHAT: A fashion-led childrenswear brand which combines a Japanese aesthetic with a hit of London cool, designed by mother-daughter duo Yuki and Yuriko Oshima.
WHY: "This clothing brand is really special" said Junior Editor Bonita Turner, "The precision cuts, incredible attention to detail and beautiful finishes are incredible. A truly stunning collection!" Our mini-influencers loved the collection too and the only criticism came from mini influencer Farouk James who said, "Love this brand. Please do boys!"

WHAT: An ethically made, modern, children’s fashion brand designing beautiful, fun, practical clothes and accessories for babies, girls and boys from 3 months to 6 years.
WHY: The response to this collection was overwhelmingly positive with the words "Oh I would love this for my daughter!" heard over and over again as the JDA18 judges perused the rails. The charming hand made feel of these clothes with beautiful block prints and contrasting hems really resonated with our judges who loved the pretty but relaxed bohemian feel with a gentle nod to the seventies. "I absolutely love this collection. " said Junior Contributing Editor Ellie Crompton, "There is something magical about it that sums up the essence of a sun-soaked, carefree childhood to me. "

WINNER: BRONZE FOR BEST CHILDREN'S FASHION COLLECTION
WHO: RACHEL RILEY
WHAT: The luxury British baby and childrenswear label creating classic clothes that are designed to be enjoyed and cherished and passed down as family heirlooms for generations to come.
WHY: Our judges especially our mini-judges were hugely impressed with Rachel Riley's latest collection and there was much holding up of dresses and caressing of shoes in our Junior judging room. Fern, mum to mini-influencer Fancy Nancy said "Rachel Riley is loved and adored by both my children! Every season gets our hearts racing!". Mini influencer Amazing Arabella added "Cool designs and patterns!" while international child model and influencer Farouk James said "My favourite and I love twinning with my mummy."
