JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 JOINT GOLD WINNER: Best Children’s Fashion Accessories Brand

WHO: STYCH

WHAT: A playful accessories brand designed to make you ‘smile ’til your cheeks hurt!’ Offering fun and affordable accessories for children, pets and parents.

WHY: Our judges felt that this new brand had hit the nail on the head with their cool but playful branding and a cleverly curated selection of accessories and gifts – the name in itself is pure genius! Stych managed to stand out in a very competitive category.

This is such a great feel-good brand who have absolutely nailed stylish but fun accessories for kids.

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 JOINT GOLD WINNER: Best Children’s Fashion Accessories Brand

WHO: PAPERTWINS

WHAT: A beautiful fine jewellery collection for children, with a contemporary design aesthetic. Luxury pieces that are perfect for 6-16 year olds with discerning taste.

WHY: Our judges felt this jewellery took tween and teen gifting to another much needed level. No more hunting for a gift that you aren’t absolutely certain will delight the recipient as much as the giver! Papertwins fills the gap in the market for chic and contemporary children’s jewellery with ease. The new delicate pavé ring collection was a huge hit with the panel.

These designs are breathtaking and are exactly what modern girls want to receive these days. Filling a much needed gap in pre-teen and teen gifting.
Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 SILVER WINNER: Best Children’s Fashion Accessories Brand

WHO: Milledeux

WHAT: A timeless and innovative collection of handmade hair accessories – which range from classic to humorous and fun. Made from nickel-free metal and certified OEKO-TEX® grosgrain ribbon with hairstylist-grade alligator clips that won’t slip out or damages children’s hair.

WHY: First of all. Lobsters. Whoever came up with the lobster hair slide design needs a medal! Our judges loved this collection of handmade, conversation starting hair accessories that have an almost origami like quality with folds and rolls transforming grosgrain ribbon into everything from pencils to ballerinas. The humour and affection in this brand really made us smile.

These incredible origami style creations are beautiful with a dash of humour, which I love. Who could resist those lobsters?!
