WHO: Flossi the Flamingo Trunki

WHAT: The latest addition to the innovative ride-on suitcase company’s collection, designed to make travelling fun for the family. Flossi the Flamingo (as with all Trunki designs) is hand-luggage approved with an 18 litre capacity and can be carried, pulled, ridden or towed. Featuring rose gold horns - a first for any Trunki - to give an extra touch of magic.

WHY: Oh gosh this colour combination is gorgeous! Not your average bubblegum, this luscious shade of shell pink with contrasting turquoise wheels and rose gold horns is pure eye candy and would delight any mini travellers with a love of fun and colour. Many of our judges knew and loved this brand already and were very familiar with the excitement and pride a ride-on trunkie inspires in children. Our judges wrote in their comments:

These are great cases which children love.
Amanda Meachem, founder of children’s modelling agency Grace and Galor
All kids who adore flamingoes and unicorns (my daughter included) will love this design.

WHO: Zip and Zoe - Colour & Wash Backpacks

WHAT: A soft rucksack covered in fun, intricate black and white line drawings that can be coloured in with the accompanying washable colouring pens. Once you’ve finished colouring in your bag you can pop it in the washing machine and start all over again so the fun never ends! Available in two designs: Dino and Unicorn.

WHY: Doodling on the go is such a great idea for travellers and what could be more restful and calming for kids than settling down to some intricate, hugely satisfying colouring in? Our judges loved this idea and thought it would be a great project to start pre-journey and then dip into whenever there’s a lull. The whole re-usable concept of this bag also really grabbed our judges who loved the idea of an exciting gift with an extended life. Our judges wrote in their notes:

Great idea - entertainment whilst travelling too!
Emma Paton, fashion blogger and founder of Finlay Fox

WHO: Chloe the Unicorn Midi Flyte

WHAT: A compact piece of cabin sized luggage that combines a pull-along case with its own flip out deck so children have their own scooter on-the-go with suitcase in tow. The Midi Flyte, is perfect for children aged 4 – 8.

WHY: What a wonderful way to travel! Lots of our judges wished there was a grown up version of this suitcase that converts into a handy scooter making light work of moving your bag across the airport concourse or even taking a picnic to the park. Parents of unicorn fans were immediately smitten with the pretty flower crowned illustration and were putting this to the top of their Christmas shopping lists. Our judges wrote in their notes:
