WHAT: Animal-themed all-in-one ski suits and winter wear made from recycled plastic bottles for children and toddlers.
WHY: This year more than ever we all need a burst of positivity, so anyone in the business of having fun, making us smile, keeping us cosy and looking after the planet was always going to score highly. Our judges were absolutely unanimous in their decision that this eat, sleep, breathe brand on a mission to encourage adventures and treat our planet with reverence and respect in outfits that makes everyone beam should win our coveted platinum award. These highly original, incredibly cute, animal themed ski suits with a technical sporty feel really excited the panel, especially when they discovered they were all made from recycled plastic bottles. The brand’s plans to launch a 'Pre-Loved' sale section of their site also impressed the judge who felt this brand was making a real commitment to extending the life-cycle of their clothing.
Reason to take your kids skiing just to get them to wear these amazing outfits!!

WHAT: A range of beautifully designed weather-proof coats and all in one suits made with recycled nylon and polyester.
WHY: This brand’s incredible attention to detail, technical prowess and constant striving for more sustainable and ethically produced materials really impressed our judges who also loved their minimal aesthetic peppered with a few well-chosen stylish prints. Our panel particularly liked this season’s gentle colour palette and were excited by the high quality, technical feel of these clothes.
Such a fantastic, quality brand whose years of research are more than evident in their incredibly well-made and technically brilliant garments.
I always head to MINI A TURE when it’s time to buy my children a new coat as I know they will be completely protected from the elements and will look incredibly stylish too. The coats always have years of wear left when they’ve been outgrown and are always passed down. Love the new styles and colours in this collection.

WHO: Goose & Gander - Puddle Duck Collection
WHAT: Natural non toxic rubber, waterproof wellington boots & rain coats for children and toddlers.
WHY: These classic raincoats and boots with a nostalgic feel are absolutely gorgeous and our judges were very excited by the quality feel, the attention to detail and the range of on-trend muted shades. The simple, well cut coats with plenty of room to grow and soft cotton linings were a big hit as were the super cute wellies with their fabulous two tone colour options, pretty prints, recycled buckles, natural cotton lining, breathable insoles, anti slip soles. The panel felt that creating this collection was a real labour of love and they were very impressed with the focus on sustainable production.
These gorgeous coats and wellies make the perfect combo for splashing about in rain and puddles without getting wet!

WHO: Frugi - Puddle Buster Outerwear
WHAT: A range of durable, waterproof and eco-friendly outerwear for babies and toddlers 0-10 years in Frugi's signature bright and cheerful prints.
WHY: Frugi is know for its amazing eco crenditials and GOTS certified organic cotton children’s clothes but, this outerwear collection goes above and beyond this. The judges were extremely impressed with the activewear made with 100% post-consumer recycled polyester from used plastic bottles. There noted that this process has a much lower carbon footprint than virgin polyester and stops plastic waste from going into landfills and oceans. The process of turning old plastic bottles into clothes is innovative and Frugi are are one of the first companies to pioneer recycled outerwear for children. Winners, indeed.
The beautiful use of colours, prints and environmentally friendly fabrics make this a stand out brand.
Great it’s made from recycled plastic! Such fun and colourful would love to see them do more retro prints!
