WHAT: Storksak Alyssa Black Changing Bag
WHY: Sleek, stylish and highly functional, this roomy bag ticked all the boxes for our team of judges who loved the pared back sophisticated feel of this changing bag that segues between chic, comfortable backpack - that can be attached to a buggy - to elegant shoulder bag. The fantastic attention to detail in terms of storage, accessories and an easy to access lid style opening, scored highly.

A sleek classic changing bag.

The quality of this stylish changing bag is excellent - there isn’t a trick that it has missed. I had a Storksak and I never tired of it even for the many years I lugged it around from those early baby to those busy toddler days!

WINNER OF BEST CHANGING BAG DESIGN: SILVER

WHO: Pacapod

WHAT: Pacapod Hartland Pack in oak
WHY: The warm tan brown leather of this pared back changing bag really appealed to our judges who felt the sleek leather design really stood out in this category. Pacapod’s signature and frankly genius removable inner pouches, one for feeding and one for changing were much admired and extras such as pram clips and a tiny pouch for snacks, dummies or anything you really don’t want to rummage for, were praised. This changing bag is part of Pacapod’s eco-range and the panel were excited to learn that the materials had been selected for sustainability and minimum environmental impact.

WINNER OF BEST CHANGING BAG DESIGN: JOINT BRONZE

WHO: LASSIG

WHAT: LASSIG Green Label Tidy Talent Diaper Backpack
WHY: This multi-tasking changing backpack that includes two clearly separate compartments, one for nappies and baby equipment and another for a laptop and paperwork really struck a chord with our panel, many of whom are working mums. With a pared back minimal aesthetic and plenty of fab practical features such as a padded back section to keep laptops and backs protected, comfy padded shoulder straps and easy access to phone, keys and baby equipment, our panel felt this bag really offered something new. Perfect for keeping on top of things during the nappy changing years and then as a gym/work bag after that!

I think this is great for a working parent with the need to compartmentalise laptops and dirty nappies! Also saves blushes when pulling the laptop out at work only to pull a whole load of old wipes or something with it!

I feel more organised just looking at this bag! I think it would really help streamline a busy, working parent’s life.

WINNER OF BEST CHANGING BAG DESIGN: JOINT BRONZE

WHO: VANCHI

WHAT: 2-in-1 Shoulder Bag Pram Caddy
WHY: Our judges all commented on the versatility and practicality of this stylish changing bag that segues between clip on pram caddy to easy to carry shoulder bag and felt that it would really help make life easier for mums on the move. Lightweight, with plenty of storage for the essentials and well placed and good sized pockets and compartments, it was obvious that this bag had been intuitively designed by a team of mothers.

This is my favourite of the bags entered in the awards. It looks the most like a regular bag but is also hugely functional as a changing bag.
Charlotte Kewley, Baby and Children’s Stylist
I love this. No better place to hang a bag than on the back of a pushchair!
