WHO: Amy & Ivor

WHAT: A contemporary baby footwear collection with a focus on fun and the practical needs of babies. This season Amy & Ivor have given customers the opportunity to ‘design their own’ shoes by selecting various options on line for a truly bespoke and personal pair of mocassins, lace-ups or high-tops. All Amy & Ivor shoes are made from carefully sourced vegetable tanned and chrome free eco-leather, and are skilfully and ethically handmade, by a small team just outside London.

WHY: Our judges were in love with these teeny, tiny shoes and there was much fussing over the quality, beautiful detailing, whimsical prints and the option of the prettiest Liberty print laces.

Gorgeous! What soft leather! : ) and the prints! Swoon!
JDA19 judge and top kids’ fashion photographer Abi Campbell
The original and the best. Every time a friend of mine has a baby I introduce them to this brand. Stunning quality, breathtaking style and details that my girls still adore today. They're so beautifully crafted that you'd want to frame each pair!

WINNER: SILVER BEST BABY FOOTWEAR COLLECTION

WHO: Goose & Gander –  Wild Heart Collection

WHAT: The most adorable mini sandals and moccasins made to suit tiny baby feet and growing toddler toes with equal emphasis on comfort and style. Designed by Irish born and based mum Samantha O’Leary.

WHY: If you’re looking for a pair of baby shoes to break Instagram then Goose & Gander is the brand for you. The tiniest basket sandals in gorgeous earthy leather tones, sweet pastel ballet pumps with bows and subtle leopard print lace-ups have all been designed to make you squeal. These shoes are designed to be super comfortable, so the great news is that babies love to wear them too.

WINNER: BRONZE BEST BABY FOOTWEAR COLLECTION

WHO: Poco Nido – Mini Shoes

WHAT: Soft soled baby shoes which pull on and are specifically designed to stay on. Made from cotton and suede, these mini shoes are made with every baby quirk in mind. The ink used to print their designs is water based and non toxic, so it’s safe enough to chew and the soles are grippy chrome free suede. Available from 3 months to 3 years.

WHY: These flexible, roomy shoes are fantastic for growing feet that want to go on their first adventures. We love the special stay-put technology that makes sure they aren’t constantly falling off and the clever channel stitch construction that means there is no exposed elastic to trap toes or nip delicate skin. Our judges were equally impressed…

Wonderful patterns and incredible quality shoes that are perfect for growing feet.
