WHO: The Bonnie Mob
WHAT: The Bonnie Mob S/S21 Pool Party Collection
WHY: We want to be in this mob, we really do! Our panel loved the bold, colourful prints (hello bespectacled bananas!) that peppered this collection, inspired by David Hockney’s time in sun-soaked California. Cute organic cotton knits and eco denim pieces were all beautifully made and even a simple sunshine motif sunhat seemed to be a cut above, feeling super soft to the touch and actually staying put on the child’s head we popped it on! This premium quality, sustainably made brand that always blends style and humour with such skill was top of the JDA leader board.

WHO: Bebe Bombom
WHAT: A sustainable baby brand with an emphasis on traditional finishes and silhouettes
WHY: These stunning baby clothes really had our judges cooing with their exquisite smocking, beautiful piped edging and delicate knits. Everyone felt that the quality of these pieces was amazing and that they would be cherished and passed down for decades. The panel were particularly impressed to discover that this brand pride themselves on their commitment to the environment, only using natural fibres and non-toxic dyes to create long-lasting clothes that keep on giving.
Beautifully finished and the attention to detail is exceptional.
The attention to detail here is just beautiful! I’d definitely dress my baby girl in this brand.

WHAT: Blade & Rose A/W21 Collection
WHY: This UK family business has been delighting children and parents for over a decade now, with their gorgeous cheeky knitted leggings that feature a creature on the bottom! Now with the addition of socks, tops, hats and hoodies to their range, they sell top to toe joyful outfits that really make everyone smile. This season, their new characters, including gorgeous Quinn the Koala, really impressed our judges who loved the cute designs and great use of colour. Yet again though it was those cheeky seamless leggings that really stole the show and our panel felt they would be practical and easy to put on, while adding a touch of humour in the most adorable way.
Anyone who has ever tried to put a baby in jeans will know what a joyful straight forward option these unisex leggings are! My son loved them and the bottom detail was always a great talking point.
I think all little ones would love these fun characters!
