WHAT: A physiologically sensitive and stylish baby carrier with design values that complement rather than compromise on parents’ style. The carrier can be worn on the front, side or back and is made from a 3D breathable all-climates, technical fabric based on OekoTex100 cotton that gives a soft and flexible cocooning sensation for babies. With the addition of an optional extension pack the carrier can last until your child is three years old. Approved by the HipDysplasia Institute.

WHY: Just because a piece of baby equipment is practical that doesn’t mean it has to look it! This is the premise behind this stylish baby carrier that marries function and style to perfection. Our judges loved the cool pared back design in shades of grey, the soft fabric and the brilliant hood detail. Testers found the sling super comfortable and loved its contemporary feel. Our judges wrote in their notes:

I really like the hood!

WINNER: BEST BABY CARRIER/SLING DESIGN

WHO: Integra Baby

WHAT: A UK made, ergonomic baby carrier which can be used from birth to toddler. Designed by Sarah Sadler who has worked in the baby carrying industry for over 12 years, this carrier has dual adjustable buckles to ensure an easy and close fit, is compact and easy to use, safety tested , machine washable and available in a wide choice of cool prints and fabrics including Harris Tweed and other collaborative editions.

WHY: Our judges loved this baby carrier that felt extremely comfortable to wear and reassuringly sturdy and comfortable for mini travellers. Wide straps, a soft belt, great support and shade for baby’s head were other factors the judges fully approved of. The judges also liked the eco-sensitive ethos of the brand. The greatest point of interest however was the incredible selection of gorgeous prints to suit every taste and the option of plain fabric too if you like to keep things pared back. Our judges said:

Love the patterns!
