Young Soles Spring/Summer 2022 Kids Shoes Collection

We are huge fans of luxury children’s footwear brand Young Soles as their clutch of platinum Junior Design Awards will attest. Their beautifully designed collections of lightweight shoes, boots and sandals for both boys and girls from baby and toddler to junior, never fail to impress and excite and this season's look book has really made us smile.

The inspiration for Young Soles' latest campaign shots came from Creative Director, Louise Shill's childhood holidays.

As a child of the 70’s and 80’s, I have fond memories of caravanning holidays with my grandparents. We would all be squished into a tiny caravan on the British coast somewhere. I used to love spending time outdoors and creating our own fun making new friendships. We would spend hours building dens, playing board games, and having amazing adventures, these holidays seemed to last forever and everything was bathed in a bronze and green haze.

Colour is always used with great originality and flair in the Young Soles' collections and as well shades of bronze and green, a summery palette of chestnut brown, ocean blue, mink, lilac, ruby, rust - and let's not forget, the occasional burst of sunshine yellow - all appear.

This season sees a whole host of new styles, including the Keegan, a sporty style "sneaker" that is steeped in nostalgia. A classic “old-school” EVA-soled sports-trainer and three new additions to the sandal family including the clog style “Heidi” which brings a contemporary twist.

Other new styles are “Bea” a stylish T-bar addition to the British Heritage Collection, “Blossom” a classic Velcro T-bar featuring a new “blossom” punch detail on a hard- wearing rubber sole, “Chester” a timeless lace-up and side-zip fastening Derby boot and “Rio” a nautical inspired loafer with feature contrast stitching on the signature Young Soles lightweight sole.

We can't wait to see lots of little feet enjoying all these gorgeous shoes this Spring/ Summer - especially if they're worn with fabulous socks like these!
