Just Landed: New Season Zara Kids

It. Is. Here. The Junior desk was hyperventilating over its Apple Macs when word got out that Zara’s main Spring/Summer drop had landed. And what a collection it is. Honestly, we can’t sing its praises highly enough.

The mix of embroidery, shirring, pintucks, linen textures and incredible cuts, not to mention the faux fur lined sandals, looks like something you’d expect from a high end boutique, not a major high street store. Both the boys’ and girls’ collections have a strong sun-soaked, bohemian vibe and while while we’re super excited by the use of texture, bold colour and florals in the boys’ range, it’s the girls’ exquisite Victorian thrift inspired separates teamed with embroidered cheesecloth and vintage print PJ’s that really steal the show. Any other year, we’re sure this boy’s collection would have outshone the girls’ offering but someone on the Zara design team has taken the girls’ line to another level.
