Just Landed: Kate Morgan Studio X H&M kids collection
Hitting store this April the new H&M kids fashion collaboration is with British artist Kate Morgan - and we love it!
Hot on the heels of the fantasy island and jungle collection in collaboration with Parisian artist Nathalie Lété. H&M have announced a new children collection with British fine artist Kate Morgan. Kate Morgan Studio X H&M is hitting stores and online and we type and a heads up - you won't want to miss it!
The Kate Morgan Studio x H&M children capsule collection includes colourful prints inspired by her imaginative studies of wildlife, plants and landscapes. Using watercolours Morgan has drawn a variety of motifs that together create the signature prints for the whole collection. Toucans and parrots are key, but also tigers, leopards, amingos, pandas, butterflies and frogs are present and all set with a background print of lush green foliage and vibrant flowers. Kate said of her debut collection for H&M kids:
It was really fun to work with H&M on this collaboration, especially since it’s the first time my art has been translated into a whole clothing collection. I also really love the fact that it’s a kids range because when I grew up, I was fascinated with wildlife and animals, so I hope that these pieces will also intrigue the kids and get them interested in natural history. If I can inspire or spark that interest, that would be fantastic.
The pieces will be instantly recognisable in store and online, the collection includes tops, trousers, dresses, swimwear and accessories (hats, sandals and hairbands) with cute details such as cap sleeves, ruffled necklines, handkerchief hemlines and the ubiquitous reversible sequins - this contemporary, playful and wearable collection will brighten up kids summer wardrobe in no time. The Kate Morgan Studio X H&M Kids collection will be available in selected stores worldwide, as well as on hm.com, from 25th April.
