WHO: MABLI
WHAT: A Welsh childrenswear brand specialising in natural knitwear inspired by heritage traditions with a slow-fashion, sustainable approach to production. Catering for the whole family from baby up to 12 years, with pieces for adults too.
WHY: This Junior Design Award favourite, has done it again, acing their category and impressing every single one of our judges with their beautiful, high quality knitwear that has a firm foot in tradition while still managing to look fresh and contemporary. A stunning collection that everyone would love to dress the whole family in!

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 SILVER WINNER: Best UK Children’s Fashion Brand
WHO: Elfie
WHAT: An independent British childrenswear brand offering equal doses of tradition and whimsy inspired by classic children’s illustration and vintage clothing collections from the heyday of home sewn smock dresses and car coats.
WHY: This clothing collection really caught our judges’ imaginations with its nostalgic prints and silhouettes embellished with magical embroidery and quirky details that would delight any child or parent. Our panel felt that this was a very special brand that stood out from the pack with it’s brilliantly eccentric and charming pieces. Clothes to treasure and pass down.

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 BRONZE WINNER: Best UK Children’s Fashion Brand
WHO: BOB the Brand
WHAT: A contemporary fashion brand from Manchester featuring witty slogans and initial prints offering style for the whole family, regardless of gender or age.
WHY: Our panel loved the upbeat, positive vibe of this made and designed in Manchester brand whose t-shirts, sweatshirts and dungarees boast the best slogans and coolest initial prints we’ve seen in a long time. The judges were also super impressed by the brand’s “Slow Fashion” ethos, making every item to order, to reduce waste and using eco products where possible, including organic cotton, vegan materials and recycled fibres.
