WHY: All the clothes designed and made by Little Cotton Clothes have a gorgeous classic feel with a light touch that brings them into the modern world. Mustard floral prints, gauzy blouses and peter pan collars give this collection a whimsical feel that make them the perfect foil for magical childhood moments. Our judges were very impressed and said:

WHAT: A modern clothing brand for girls with simple pared back lines, beautiful but subtle detailing and a hint of tradition. All pieces are made from natural top quality fabrics and are designed with active children in mind so comfort remains a number one priority.
WHY: This label was consistently pulled off the JDA19 rail by ardent admirers who all professed to love Nellie Quats! The simple cuts, light airy feel and beautifully chosen prints and fabrics makes these clothes a joy to look at and a joy for free-spirited girls to wear. The fantastic quality of the range really impressed our judges who commented in their notes:

WHO: Hoity-Toity
WHAT: An ethically and sustainably produced girl’s clothing brand made with water based inks for low impact digital printing and GOTS certified organically sourced textiles all made in the UK. Feminine pieces with delicate design flourishes and charming prints make this a playful collection inspired by quintessential English eccentricity & charm. A central ethos of the brand is that all pieces should be future heirlooms.
WHY: The Summer 19 collection viewed by our judges was inspired by ‘Secret Gardens’ from Marrakech to Mapperton featuring signature hand painted florals , birds of paradise & muted Moroccan tile print motifs and colourways. Our judges loved the cap sleeve details, ruffles and mix of classic and more contemporary silhouettes in this range, making it a super stylish but also very wearable collection for girls who like pretty clothes with personality.”
This really is a label with heart and style. I love the fact that they take their eco values so seriously and produces such beautiful, original collections year after year.
