WINNER: GOLD BEST TRAVEL PRODUCT FOR PARENTS

WHO: Baby Hub SleepSpace

WHAT: A lightweight, full-size travel cot with standing height mosquito net, extra padded mat, low zipped door and a stylish carry bag. With the added bonus that when your kids fancy something different or they’ve outgrown the need of a cot it turns into a play tepee. For Newborn – 3 Years.

WHY: Our judges absolutely loved the multi-functionality of this travel cot that has so many useful features that make travelling anywhere and especially to hot countries so much easier. The standing height mosquito net was met with great applause as it cleverly gets around the problem of hemming babies and especially toddlers in with a low level net. The bonus of a fun wig-wam play space also impressed the panel. Our judges said:

WHAT: A blackout blind for buggies that blocks 99% of UV rays & helps parents get out with a small baby without impacting on nap time. Developed to help babies sleep on the move so that plane delays, theme parks and evening meals out can all be enjoyed or endured while baby gets the sleep he/she needs in a safe environment.

WHY: Our judges felt that this was a genius design solution that would make a huge difference to stress-free travelling as well as the inevitable day to day, life journeys that have to be made during nap time. The very reasonable price also scored highly with the panel. Our judges wrote in their notes:

In every 'new mum gift box' there should be this. It's great at protecting little ones but it's also a life saver when your baby gets to that 'sleep is for the weak, look a shiny penny!' stage. It calms them down enough for a little nap which means it protects, and gives you a happier little bundle too

WHY: This innovation from the classic Play&Go storage bag company was really well received by our judges who loved the idea of a portable play mat that can also store all your baby essentials when you’re on the go. The cute graphic animal prints in monochrome and shades of pastel were also a huge hit. Our judges said:

This is such a fantastic design. The soft round play mat is gorgeous in its own right but add in the fact that it doubles as a roomy storage tote for days out and this becomes a new baby essential.
