JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 GOLD WINNER: Best Pampering Beauty Product For Parents

WHO: Spacemasks

WHAT: Gently self-heating and soothing eye masks that relieve tiredness and eye strain and aid relaxation

WHY: This is THE gift to give to a new mother or anyone in particular who needs a relaxing nap, yourself included! As our judges agreed, it’s impossible to put on one of these masks without feeling nurtured, comforted and relaxed. The panel loved the simple, comfortable and easy to use design, the stylish starry packaging and that this brand does so much to raise money for various charities with the proceeds from its sales.

These masks are another level of self-care. An indulgent, spirit-lifting gift for sleep-deprived parents.
Charlotte Jolly, Beauty Director of Hello! and Hello! Fashion
Like nothing else out there. Spacemasks paved the way for incredible relaxation. This should be in every hospital bag and given regularly to every new mum to help them calm into a relaxing sleep.

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 SILVER WINNER: Best Pampering Beauty Product For Parents

WHO: Oh Mumma

WHAT: A luxury beauty and lifestyle subscription box for mums and mums to be, containing 5-7 curated products.

WHY: This new, mum-founded, small business really impressed our judges who all agreed that they would absolutely love to receive one of these thoughtfully curated boxes through the post. The product selection was on point and the stylish design of the packaging and presentation really made this feel like an indulgent exciting treat. The addition of a handwritten gift card also touched our judges as did the fundraising efforts of the brand – 1% of all Oh Mumma profits go to the PANDAS Foundation who support families experiencing pre and post natal mental illness.

I'm sometimes disappointed with the quality and range of products in subscription boxes, but the edit is particularly strong here - these products would be a welcome addition to any bathroom shelf or bedside table. Plus, these boxes are great value for money, the subscription options are flexible and they come with hand-written, personalised notes.
Charlotte Jolly, Beauty Director of Hello! and Hello! Fashion
I love that the notes are handwritten! That personal touch means so much.

Such a beautiful selection of goodies that make wonderful alternative gifts to the swathes of flowers often sent to new Mums. Thoughtfulness in one package.
Gemma Metcalfe, founder of Mutha. Hood @mutha.hood
Beautiful box, with gorgeous products.
