JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 GOLD WINNER: Best Children’s Lunchbox Design
WHO: Stuck On You
WHAT: A practical and personalised Bento lunchbox that allows kids to enjoy fresh and healthy meals for school — or for family holidays, camping, picnics and sleepovers.
WHY: Fun, functional, and family-friendly the Bento lunchbox was a hit with our judges who loved the colours, designs and different sizes available (There is the option of four or six compartments, or a sandwich tray.) The leakproof design, airtight silicone seal (for ultimate freshness) and easy-to-use clips (we tried them over and over!) makes them perfect for children and adults. What’s more, Stuck On You have eliminated the need for unnecessary packaging – meaning each Bento Lunchbox can stop up to 30kg of waste per schoolchild per year! Impressive stats, don’t you think?

WHO: TUM TUM
WHAT: With comical little legs hanging down and mischievous smiles on their faces, these Bug lunch bags or should we say lunch bugs, are a playful and practical choice for children.
WHY: Besides being the cutest little lunch packs we have ever seen, these Tum Tum Bug lunch bags are fully insulated, have one side which zips open and folds down (allowing for a hygienic area for children to eat their food), a handy net pocket for storing cutlery or a freezer pack and a useful clippy handle allowing it to be attached to a pushchair or backpack. The perfect size for toddler and pre-schoolers – any kid carrying one of these will be the talk of the playground.

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 BRONZE WINNER: Best Children’s Lunchbox Design
WHO: Bibetta
WHAT: A new collection of neoprene lunch bags from Bibetta that are soft, stretchy, durable and, best of all hygienic ( they’re machine washable) available in two eye-catching shapes, and seven fun designs.
WHY: Designed in-house by Bibetta in Cambridge, the design of this clever little lunch bag means it can be turned inside-out and cleaned thoroughly, right into the corners (Say goodbye to spilt yoghurt, squashed fruit and annoying crumbs. Yeah!) and dries quickly too. As the bag has no layers (the Neoprene has an absorbent top coating and a waterproof, foam-rubber middle) it insulates the contents, is leak-proof and extremely durable so, it will probably outlast those schooldays!
