Everything on this site is chosen to stimulate the imagination and the store’s concept that a child’s bedroom should be a bedtime story in itself really resonated with our judges...

WHY: We love the concept of this online store and our judges were super impressed with the fantastic and varied brands that not only sit under the sustainable umbrella but are also beautiful to look at and a joy to play with. Favourite items are the Betty’s Home velvet cushions, the BERMBACH Handcrafted cribs and the Clementine Kids muslins, not forgetting their wooden toy selection which is extremely impressive. WHAT: Scandibørn is an online lifestyle boutique that brings the very best of Scandinavian-inspired design to family homes across the world. A family run business established in 2016 by Grace Tindall and her husband, James based in Sheffield.
WHY: Scandibørn (which means Scandi Kids in Danish) scores premium Scandi brands from across the world ensuring all products share the same beautiful Nordic style. Our judges were big fans of the simple aesthetic, gender neutral designs and high quality craftsmanship. It was also noted that the long-lasting, functional pieces were perfect from pregnancy to motherhood and beyond.

WHAT: A design led modern decor, lifestyle and gift boutique curated for the modern family. Stocking contemporary nursery and playroom décor with art, toys and accessories for children this is the online destination for design-conscious parents who want to create imaginative play spaces for their children.
WHY: The incredible array of brands stocked here combined with a very clear identity made this store really stand out to the judges. With a definite leaning towards clean lines and graphic details, this is a fantastic store for anyone who favours the pared back look without compromising on fun. The site’s warm and friendly feel was commented on by several judges who also loved the fact that it is run by a mother of two and all the brands stocked are made by mothers.
Daisies and Dinosaurs is a fantastic destination for anyone who wants to design a stylish contemporary nursery from scratch or just wants a few gorgeous pieces to bring it up to date.
There are so many fantastic brands and products on this site, you could get lost here for hours. Great that the site does so much to support mothers in business.

WHAT: Hedgehog Shop is a collection of timeless toys and practical things for children and families, curated by designer Teresa Roviras. Nothing is gimmicky or trendy, and there’s a strong emphasis on learning through play and instilling good ethical values in children from a young age.
WHY: The judges loved the stories that designer Teresa put together to illustrate healthy activities and promote outdoor play and the fact that the site is crammed full of interesting and nostalgic products and ideas.
