WHAT: The playful kid’s welly brand that hails from Manchester. After two years of business this brand is thriving with sell-out success in many of their designs. Their cute, colour-changing infant wellies make rainy days something to look forward to!
WHY: These boots are so much fun and the colour change technology really does set them apart. We love the range of bright and cheerful colourways and the cool pared back cloud motifs that change colour when it rains. We particularly liked the Worker Bee motif boots that Grass & Air created in collaboration with the University of Manchester with a charity donation given to the We Love Manchester Charity Fund for every pair sold. WHO: Goose & Gander: Puddle Duck Wellington Boots
WHAT: Classic wellington boots for children aged one to five in a range of sweet colours from children’s footwear brand Goose & Gander. Function meets fashion with natural rubber, breathable linings, non-slip soles, and a super cute design.
WHY: Our judges were really excited about these classic vintage style boots that look so sweet with any rainy day outfit. The gorgeous retro styling of these boots stirred up childhood memories of muddy walks and stomping on the beach and our judges loved the white trim contrast of the neck and sole of the boots. The perfect fusion of fashion and function, these boots are also tough so will most likely be handed down to siblings once they’re grown out of. Our judges loved these little booties…

I love these boots. There’s something really nostalgic about the shape and colours and the little goose logo is super cute.
