WHY: Our judges were so impressed with Alex and Alexa’s fantastic curation of kid’s brands from classic labels like Bonpoint to more kooky, contemporary brands like The Animals Observatory and Mini Rodini. Extra points were given to the ongoing development of alexandalexa’s own super cool in-house labels. With their fantastic seasonal specific shops, fab edits and fun but thoughtfully compiled blog, this online store really does have something for everyone.

WHAT: A comprehensive edit of luxury contemporary children's fashion, featuring unique, up-and-coming brands that really stand out from the crowd. Founded by Shana, mother of six and possessor of excellent taste.

WHY: Our judges loved the sleek and polished feel of this website that offers an incredible array of stylish labels while managing to remain easy to navigate and a pleasure to use. Labels like The New Society, Mimisol and Tambere make this a fantastic destination for discovering the trailblazers of contemporary children’s fashion. The panel were also very keen on the added offering of a personal shopping and styling service.

This is such a beautifully designed website that really has its finger on the pulse.

WHAT: A carefully curated, handpicked selection of sustainably produced children’s brands from all over the world with a focus on emerging childrenswear brands from across Europe, Australia, Korea and Japan.

WHY: This site feels really fresh and our judges loved the beautiful, considered edit of clothing, the commitment to showcasing ethical brands and the fact that this site goes out of it’s way to champion new and exciting brands that you might not have heard of before.

Pepper was a tiny bit prejudiced because she's in one of the pictures but we love smaller shops and this one has the best brands and look and feel.

WHAT: A high quality, affordable kidswear range from British High Street and online store Marks & Spencer. Featuring collaborations with household names such as Roald Dahl, The Natural History Museum and Harry Potter.

WHY: From quality basics to all the frills, absolutely everything is covered by M&S and you can rely on their quality being second to none. Our judges were super impressed with some of the more fashion forward pieces on display as well as the cosy Winter separates that make the colder months something to look forward to. The selection of corduroys, plaids and beautiful embroidery, had everyone smiling and several of us making notes to head down to the store ASAP.

Without doubt one of the best on the high street for baby & childrenswear...

WHO: Rosie & Lula

WHAT: A stylish but affordable baby and childrenswear boutique founded by mum of three, Rachael. Stocking over 20 brands including Wedoble, Babidu, Pangasa & Baby Gi.

WHY: Our judges were so impressed by founder Rachael’s journey from one-woman band to a team of four with a 36,000 instagram following, taking over 3000 orders. The panel was equally excited by the fabulous edit of clothing, featuring pretty prints, gorgeous collar details and soft muted tones.
