JOINT WINNER: BRONZE BEST BABY FASHION BRAND
WHO: Kit & Kin
WHAT: From the makers of the ultra cute Kit & Kin eco-nappies comes this equally eco-concious , gorgeously stylish, unisex babywear range offering all the basics you need to clothe a baby and more. All made from super soft organic cotton that’s sustainably sourced, the clothes are designed to look good, feel good and do good. As part of Kit & Kin’s giving back programme with the World Land Trust, every item purchased helps fund sustainable community development projects in Guatemala, providing educational scholarships, healthcare and family planning clinics for local young women and children.
WHY: The brand’s determination to create an ethically sustainable clothing range that not only minimises its impact on the world but puts something positive back was something that all our judges were very excited about. The knitted bunny ear hat was definitely the stand out piece and we lost count of the ooos and ahhs when anyone walked by the Kit & Kin display. Huge congratulations to Kit & Kin founders Emma Bunton and Christopher Money on this debut collection.
