It’s official. The world has mini-me mania. Everyone wants to dress like their daughters and vice versa! Having written about La Coqueta’s mama + me shoe collection and LA brand Reformation’s foray into matching mama and mini children’s wear in recent days, we’re now extremely excited to reveal that high street brand & Other Stories has released a sustainably made capsule collection of dresses and separates that come in adult and children’s sizes.
Featuring summery, printed dresses and sets all made from sustainably sourced materials, the & Other Stories kids collection is inspired by the importance of female role models in a young girl’s life and celebrates the joyful nature of those relationships. And Joy really is the key word here. After so much time spent at home, we all know that fun and family are two things worth really celebrating!
Emphasising the connection between generations is something & Other Stories were keen to do with this collection and their Designer Marthe Bianchi told us:
There are six matching looks in the collection featuring Broderie Anglaise smocking and ruffles for a romantic summery feel and for the first time & Other Stories has used plant based dyes in their collection as well as a mix of sustainably sourced fabrics including organic cotton, linen and lyocel. We love the range of soft pastels, polka dots and scalloped hems, all designed to keep customers from 1 year up extremely happy!
>> The Kids Capsule collection will launch in selected & Other Stories stores and on stories.com on May 18th with prices ranging from £27 to £95 with children’s clothes available from one and a half to eight years old.
