Oh Wow! These are the words that first came to mind when we saw Marchesa's new dress collection for girls. This selection of exquisite couture dresses matches its mother label in quality, craftsmanship and creativity and we are sure there will be plenty of princesses a twirling in these gowns when they are officially launched this Spring.
Italian fashion company FASE UNO has taken on the licence to create the Marchesa Kids Couture Collection for Georgina Chapman's US based label and unlike previous Marchesa Notte Mini collections, this is the first pure couture collection to make its debut. The first release for Spring/Summer 22, includes 13 looks, some of which were designed by Georgina Chapman herself and stockists will include boutiques, and department stores as well as select online stores including luxury e-commerce site, Childrensalon.
The Marchesa Kids Couture collection is definitely cut from the same cloth as the romantic, breath-taking dresses that you will recognise from high profile weddings and red carpet events. Iconic looks from the Marchesa Couture archives are reimagined and carefully reinterpreted as beautiful mini size dresses. The line is crafted by hand, featuring exquisite techniques, fabrics and concepts including beautiful floral embellishments, in the form of embroidery and 3D details, which add a sense of joy and abundance. We can see plenty of bridesmaids and princesses - crowned or not - stealing the scene in these incredible creations.
