For a British seaside half-term break that is a bit more refined, Bailiffscourt Hotel in West Sussex is the answer. Children are sure to love exploring the parkland grounds and unspoilt Climping beach, reached via a private pathway; they are also welcome in the indoor heated pool for two-and-a-half hours every day (the rest of the day the spa is reserved solely for parental pampering). There are also plenty of games like croquet and snooker to keep everyone amused, while the traditional seaside town of Littlehampton is just up the road. The hotel is offering free B&B for up to two children sharing their parents’ room
at February half-term: a saving of£35 per child.
