The Castlemartyr Resort is just 25 minutes drive from Cork Airport and is a truly fairytale 17th century manor house. Set on Sir Walter Raleigh’s former estate, the resort has two gorgeous dogs, Earl and Countess, and guests can take them for walks during their stay.

Family suites are spacious with two bedrooms and a large living room. There’s a delicious Organic Pharmacy Spa, plus golf and fine dining. Children under 12 enjoy complimentry food and drinks and during peak seasons, a children’s high tea is served. Families can take carriage tours of the 220-acre estate.

The children’s club is open during school holidays with a playroom, games room and special family swim times in the pool. Close by are Fota Wildlife Park, the fishing harbour of Ballycotton and Garryvoe Beach.
