The Rotunda Museum

Long before the sea-bathers arrived – about 165 million years before, that is – dinosaurs roamed these parts. A new exhibition, Scarborough’s Lost Dinosaurs, opens at The Rotunda Museum on May 26. The Rotunda Museum was founded in 1829 by William Smith, father of English geology, and is the place to go to learn more about the region’s unique geology.
