Feather Down Farm, County Derry

Feather Down Farms can always be relied upon to transport your family into a rural idyll with its tried-and-tested countryside glamping. Families get to stay in beautiful rustic tents with bunk beds, master bedroom, cupboard bed, wood-fired oven and, most important of all, a toilet!

Ash Park Farm in County Derry overlooks the Sperrin Mountains and children will have the pleasure of meeting the beef suckler herd, sheep, chickens, sheepdogs and Jack the terrier. And in the woodland and ancient hedgerows there are squirrels, rabbits, owls and foxes to spy and wild flowers and berries for foraging.

The famous Giant’s Causeway is just a drive away, where you can marvel at the legend of Finn MacCool. Weekend breaks from £295. Tents sleep up to six (five adults max),
