A wicked Wightlink ferry
Explore a new angle to the Isle of Wight with a Wightlink ferry
Posted: 8 August 2011
There is a growing demand for family breaks outside the main summer season. The ferry company Wightlink has launched a new online guide – Not the Beach Again – To cater for families looking for something different on the Isle of Wight.
The Wightlink winter guide suggests Dinosaur Isle, the UK’s leading purpose-built dinosaur museum; Amazon World, which recreates the magic of the Amazon rainforest; and Brading Roman Villa, Europe’s most advanced Roman exhibition site.
The three attractions are available as part of Wightlink’s Days Out programme, which offer discounted ferry and attraction entrance tickets for a family of four travelling by car (Dinosaur Isle priced at £49.50; Amazon World from £61.50 and Brading Roman Villa at £50.50).
