Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Berlin

Conveniently located near the Potsdamer Platz, the bustling city centre of this cosmopolitan city, the chic Ritz-Carlton Hotel has recently celebrated its first-ever International Kids Festival, where the grand ballroom, the Beletage, of the hotel was transformed into a paradise of children’s fun and games with a big bouncy castle, Legoland Discovery Centre Workshop, fashion catwalk, car racing track, plus a rolling buffet of hot dogs, pasta, fish fingers, potato salad, chocolate fruits, waffles and pancakes as well as delicious cakes and candy floss. Book for next year now! Even when the festival is not taking place, young guests can explore the hotel in Mini Mercedes pedal cars, enjoy welcome cocktail upon arrival, treasure hunts and a host of children’s amenities and facilties from mini bathrobe and slippers and children’s menus. For extra reassurance when traveling with babies and young children, the hotel also employs at POLO (Protect Our Little Ones) Safety Program, providing special baby bathtubs, heating equipment for baby bottles, night lights and other safety equipment on request. For older children, you’re also ideally located for home to the world's biggest model railway. While in Berlin, make sure you also check out the new trend in stylish yet family-friendly places to eat, drink and play: the kindercafes. With their blend of dedicated play areas and funky décor – and a world away from the tacky Wacky Warehouse type set-ups – the best kindercafes are in the areas where Berliners with young families live, in up-and-coming districts such as Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg.

Ritz-Carlton Berlin, Potsdamer Platz 3, 10785 Berlin Germany, tel: 49 30 33 77 77.
