They Say:

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ideal destination for families with children aged 2 – 12, offering over 55 LEGO inspired experiences, attractions, live shows, driving schools, open play spaces and building workshops.  Our visitors are encouraged to ‘Play Their Part’ at the Resort which is specially designed to appeal to everyone’s love of LEGO – with many quirky, memorable twists.  The Resort’s functionality and facilities are created with the needs of guests with disabilities at the forefront, while the stunning 150 acre parkland setting adds to the magic of a day out at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

New for 2014; more than 100 pirate LEGO models and a new quest bring Pirate Falls log flume to life and there is plenty more pirate themed fun in Castaway Camp - a new adventure play area. Brave shipmates can take voyage on the Jolly Rocker Pirate Ship, hunt for lost treasure at Pirate’s Goldwash and tuck into a burger in the new Pirate’s Burger Kitchen.  Whilst Miniland, which recreates international landmarks in miniature, welcomed a 230,000 LEGO brick recreation of Paris; with a staggering 4m tall Eiffel Tower.

There's plenty to keep the whole family entertained. For little ones there's Splash Safari - featuring a menagerie of DUPLO friends including lions, giraffes and elephants. For the bigger ones, there’s Drench Towers, the largest outdoor water structure in the UK. No visit is complete without a journey on Atlantis Submarine Voyage, submerging guests into an aquatic world of sea creatures; soar through the air on The Dragon rollercoaster and earn your driving license at the Driving School.

LEGOLAND Annual passes offer great value for money and are cheaper than visiting three times, offering a host of fantastic benefits. Children under 3 are FREE and discounts are available on tickets purchased online.

With themed events, education workshops for schools, firework spectaculars and the chance to meet Father Christmas this winter; add to this, award-winning eateries and retail outlets, including a giant LEGO shop and LEGO Star Wars Store, plus the amazing LEGO themed hotel – it’s the ultimate LEGO adventure.

Judges Comments:

"A wide offering of rides providing thrills for children aged 2-12, Legoland promises a fun packed day for the whole family. Entertainment is varied, from sealife to pirate themed attractions - there's so much to do!"
