Lego Minifigures
The sunny-faced little people who inhabit the world of Lego have long been admired, and amassed, by fans of the iconic Danish building block. But it’s only recently that Lego Minifigures have strayed into the premium collecting territory of sealed packets stashed by the newsagent’s till. Each special edition minifigures is furnished with a snappy outfit, cool accessory, and an in-depth character biog. So far there’s been everything from a cheeky circus Clown, to a misunderstood Witch and a chilled out surfer. But speed is of the essence. Minifigures are released in a succession of waves – we’re on already on series 4 – and so if your child is determined to complete a series, he’ll have to be dedicated, and super-speedy, collector.
