History Heroes Card Games: Best Toy Design (6+ Years), Junior Design Awards 2014 WINNER

What the brand says, what the judges thought and where to buy...

 1 of 1

They Say:

History Heroes are card games to teach and test all the family about who made history, how and when. There are four games: Explorers; Scientists; World War I Heroes and Sports Heroes. Each have 40 fantastically illustrated cards.  These relay facts about each of the 40 most significant characters in history within each theme. The facts range in difficulty from easy, medium to more difficult so all abilities, levels of knowledge and age can play with each other to learn and try to win the cards:  you win the cards by knowing the facts. You know the facts by learning from the cards.

History Heroes card games are beautifully, originally illustrated & designed to entertain and educate visually as much as intellectually

History Heroes card games are completely engaging while being unabashedly about knowledge and learning

Each History Hero detailed in each card game is awesome! They are exhaustively researched and their lives and achievements are gripping

Each History Heroes card game gives a clear historical shape to its own theme by telling the stories of each individual History Hero's story

History Heroes card games are created and produced to the highest standard, wholly in the UK,  so they are inviting to handle and play with - a physical alternative to computer games

Judges Comments:

"The founder of History Heroes, Harry Hastings, once told Junior that he wanted to be the 'Jamie Oliver of the history world'. Well, his educational card games have had a fun makeover and are now well be on the way to achieving that goal of dusting cobwebs off historical facts and encouraging kids that learning about the past is really fun! We especially like the Explorers set. A great game for adults too, it is the modern day Trivial Pursuit for the whole family."

It would be cool that if you get some sets on dota you could get the counter-part on artifact, and make the two games interactives between each other, but in a way that if you only like artifact or only like kizi strike force heroes 2 you don't need to play the other to fully have. Just as a bonus.

I think that if this can be achieved it would be really beneficial for both of games.
