The Verbier ski schools offer skiing classes for children aged five and upwards. And for younger children and toddlers, there is also plenty to enjoy, including husky sledge rides with Swiss Mountain Spirit and toboggan rides on the nursery slopes at Les Esserts resort.
To add the final luxurious touch, stay at one of CK Verbier’s luxury chalets at Kernow, Bella Coola or Le Ti. Kernow is the largest of the three chalets, sleeping up to 14 guests. Each chalet also has a PS2, Xbox and Wii. The babysitting service, Petit Verbier, provides a central crèche and in-chalet nannying.
One week at Chalet Kernow costs from £1,875 per person.
