Where? Perched high in the alps, Morzine is one of 12 resorts in the Portes du Soleil ski area.

Why go there? Famed for its skiing, the traditional market town now boasts lots of summer activities in four key areas: Zen, Gastronomy, Family and Action.

Children will love... Tree climbing on the Indiana Parc trail, donkey rides on the rolling hills, and a magical Elven festival, The World of Morzna (July 28–30).

Parents will love... Hiking in the fresh mountain air, relaxing in Zen Week (August 9–18) or sampling tastes of the mountains in Food Week (August 16–20). The Multi Pass costs €1 per person, per day and includes a host of benefits, such as lift passes, a map and a 20 per cent discount on many activities.

Stay at… There are lots of family-friendly hotels. For details, tel: 00 33 450 791 157; www.resa-morzine.com

This made a shrinking market for the tiny, medium and big printing houses using their lineup of expensive and maintenance hungry offset Printing Services equipment along with the large facilities that house them. Also, the purchase price to man along with the energy familiar with keep these presses rolling can make it difficult to compete for the little customer. But for that medium to large runs, offset printing is a viable market.
