Mini Boden Autumn/Winter 2012-13 press preview

The Junior fashion team have been getting carried away with trialling the Instagram mobile app, whilst perusing the autumn winter fashion collections. There was plenty to photograph at the Mini Boden press show, which was brilliantly presented in a London art gallery with book, music and art installations to catch our attention.

A new childrenswear designer on board at Boden has meant a bit of a revamp of the collection. The key Boden look is still present but with modern twist on the styling. It is most noticeable in girlswear which has received a touch more sparkle, and gold thread and sequin edging detail have been introduced. Boyswear retains the bold block colours; we especially loved the use of bright yellow and navy blue - a fresh combination. Babywear collection was our favourite with sweet knitwear in retro mustard and chalk blue colours and cute owl prints. Overall, Mini Boden's great use of a bright colour palette is still as strong and refreshing as ever.
