There are a few cities in the world at the top of every fashionistas 'must-see' list and Paris is certainly one of the most beautifully chic. The Junior Fashion team were lucky enough to be whisked away via Eurostar to the elegant Yves Delorme store in the heart of the most glamourous Parisian shopping district; Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Boasting the crème de la crème of designer fashion and chic home and furnishings this is the place to go to find decadent stores such as Hermès and Lanvin as well as, one of our personal favourites, renowned concept store Colette.
Fronting a quaint shopping galleria, the Yves Delorme store situated on Rue Boissy d'Anglas is a veritable treasure trove of elegant goodies for the home including bed linen, cushions, sleepwear (for children and adults), throws, bath accessories and much more. The pure Egyptian cotton bedding seemed to be tempting us to an amazing night's sleep and combined with the beautiful designs they would certainly make for a luxurious way of recharging our batteries. We also love the room sprays and candles, a relaxing addition to any household, chaotic or otherwise. Every inch of Yves Delorme exudes that unique, French 'bon chic, bon genre'.
We spent a happy afternoon perusing the stylish, soft mohair throws and fine French linen bedding, sharing our favourite cushion designs (mine was the Pug), cooing over the soft bathrobes and elegant sleepwear and taste testing the display of Ladurée macaroons - well, when in Paris...
Don't miss... * the opulent Mis en Demeure furniture collaborative collection * the sumptuous fluffy towels * the beautiful scented candles * the cute and cuddly children's bath robes
