with "So glad you made it! Gimme some lovin'" amid a dramatic haze of dry ice. It was a dramatic start, but not without its hazards for the first models down the catwalk who had to wave their way through the smoke, and walked past the band with their hands

As expected, the first Fendi Autumn Winter catwalk show attracted the biggest audience (Fendi launched childrenswear at Pitti in July 2011). The famous monogrammed FF was everywhere from the backdrop to the clothes. First to appear were girls in
