Chocolate And Marshmallows Sandwich
This recipe is a variation on American s’mores, (so called because everyone wants “some more”).
Makes 1 biscuit sandwich
Ingredients
2 digestive biscuits
1 tbsp chopped-up pieces of milk or dark chocolate or chocolate chips
1 marshmallow
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Place one digestive biscuit flat side up on a baking sheet then add the chocolate pieces and place the marshmallow on top. Bake in the oven for 5–8 minutes (keeping an eye on how it is cooking) or until the chocolate and marshmallow have completely melted together into a lovely gooey mess.
Remove the marshmallow-topped biscuit from the oven and then immediately place the remaining biscuit on top, flat side down. Leave to cool a little or completely before eating. You can make several sandwiches at once, just increase the quantities of the ingredients.
