You can use fromage frais or natural yoghurt. By using little fromage frais pots as moulds, you make lollies that are just the right size for small hands. As fruit tends to become less sweet when frozen, we’ve added a little honey to make the lollies more appealing to young taste buds.

Ingredients

200g (7oz) dark red cherries
200g (7oz) natural fromage frais or natural yoghurt
2 tsp clear honey

Method

Remove the stalks and stones from the cherries and place in a liquidiser with the fromage frais (or yoghurt) and honey. Blend until smooth and pour into eight 50ml (2fl oz) moulds. Freeze until almost firm, then push a stick into each pot and return to the freezer until solid.
