A sneak preview of the new mini-movie from Next
Earlier this week we were treated to a sneak preview of the new TV ad for Next and, with blue skies and sunshine over the Soho Hotel on Wardour Street, it really put us in a feel-good mood.
Filmed in sunny California, the mini-movie offers an upbeat celebration of summer’s key fashion themes: vibrant colours, floral print and denim revival. Shot by fashion photographer Ben Watts, the narrative follows supermodels Emanuela de Paul and Amy Hixson on a road trip from West Hollywood along America’s Route 66 – all set to a thumping feel-good soundtrack of the Dandy Warhol’s Bohemian Like You. On the way, the girls pull into a gas station and road-side diner, where they happen to meet a young group of groovy kids – all fashionably decked out in Next fashions, of course.
