Junior brings you the best of Boden's new Autumn/Winter '10/11 childrenswear collection, including the new Johnnie b for teens
Boden introduced their signature array of rainbow colours to brighten up a a season traditionally fashioned in dark sombre shades. The refreshing stance saw chunky knits, raincoats, turn-ups and pinafore dresses all punctuated with bright colours and vibrant patterns. Prints decorated girlswear, with giant daisies decorating dresses, polka dots linings, jumpers and smocks. Our favorite was the quirky robin print dancing along the hemlines of dresses and blouses. Boyswear, meanwhile, saw bright detailing such as bold stripes and graphic cartoon prints. Most notable were the lovely array of rain macs, inspired by the Marimekko-style graphic prints of Scandinavia.
At the other extremes, the soft yet striking babywear was enough to make you broody, while the Johnnie b debut AW collection, aimed at 12 to 18 years, goes from strength to strength, with a supercool leather biker jacket and the cutest little prom dresses – as modelled by some of the petite Boden PR gals – as stand-out highlights.
