The luxurious new resort, Borgo Egnazia is nestled in the foothills of the Apennine Mountains and has the original ancient road to Rome passing beside the front gates. Spread across 20 hectares, the resort includes a luxury hotel, 28 three-bedroom villas, and an Apulian-style village with one- and two-bedroom suites. The hotel has a lavish spa designed in the style of a Roman bath house, while each villa has a private garden and swimming pool. The village has an array of bars and restaurants, as well as a children’s club, opening in spring, that offers activities from cooking to water sports. Junior suites for a family of four cost €524 per night.
